How to force CloudGate to only 2G or 3G networks? (Not on CloudGate WW LTE)

Please follow this step-by-step guide to configure your CloudGate to only connect to 2G or 3G preferred networks.

 

1. Log on to the base unit

     a) In a web browser, go to the URL: 192.168.1.1.

     b) Enter the user name and password, and then click Login.

2. Check that your CloudGate has minimum Firmware version 1.29.0 (or higher) by clicking on the Home tab and scroll down to the System information section. (If you need to update, please follow this step-by-step guide)

3. Go  to the '3G Connection' page under the 'Interfaces' tab.

 

4. Select the preferred technology type from the 'Limit Wireless Mode' drop down menu.


5. Click 'Save changes'.

 

6. Restart your CloudGate.
