Yes. RS-422 is the same signaling as RS-485 but bidirectional. The industrial serial card (CG1102) supports this mode, however it requires specific commands to be executed on the serial port driver to configure it to be in duplex mode. The switch needs to be in the 4 wire position aswell.
In LuvitRED there is a setting in the serial in and out nodes called ‘industrial serial duplex’ which does the appropriate setup to be used in RS-422 mode.
Important to note is that we do not support CTS/RTS flow control on the industrial serial card (CG1102) so one would have to use XON/XOFF flow control to avoid buffer overruns.
